The Story
Melanie “Mel” was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska but moved to a farm outside Crete, Nebraska in Spring 2023 with her husband and children. Yet she still traveled back to Lincoln every weekday to clean there.
In 2026, Mel officially opened Mel’s Country Cleaning to serve fellow Nebraskans who love rural and small-town living but need an extra set of trusted hands. Today, Mel treats every home like a sanctuary, every client like family, and every task with pride. We listen first, tailor checklists to your lifestyle, and protect heirloom pieces with gentle care.
